DELIVERY POLICY
We charge a delivery fee of $50/hr for large orders. This includes set-up and travel time, and requires a contract. We do not offer delivery for small orders at this time, but can recommend multiple courier services.
SHIPPING POLICY
SHIPPING & ORDER PROCESSING
Chocolate Bar ships items throughout the United States using UPS as our third party shipping carrier. All perishable deliveries are sent using overnight services. Orders ship out on Wednesday, and will arrive on Thursday. Currently, we are only able to ship cookies once a week, but are working hard to increase production!
Shipping Methods & Cutoff Times
We offer two shipping options:
  1. Expedited 2-Day is guaranteed to arrive on the 2nd business day if order is placed two weeks prior.
  2. Expedited Overnight is guaranteed to arrive the next business day if the order is placed two weeks prior.
  3. Some large orders may require extra processing time. If your order requires extra time to fulfill, we will contact you via phone and/or email.
  4. Our personalized sugar cookies are made to order so please allow enough time for design, approval, production and shipping. (At least 2 weeks for small orders and 3+ for large orders.)

At this time we can not deliver to APO/FPO addresses or PO Boxes.

DELIVERY GUARANTEE
Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States, and some rural areas cannot be delivered to because overnight delivery services are unavailable. Shipping carriers are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes. Chocolate Bar is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses, will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling on behalf of the shipping carrier. Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries, in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered. Shipping carriers may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver. Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.
All orders must ship to a business address or an address where someone is present at the time of delivery so that the package does not sit outside when delivered. Chocolati Bar cannot be held responsible for product that is damaged as the result of a shipment sitting outside upon delivery.
We do not include packing slips or any pricing information, as our sweets are frequently sent as gifts and we like to conserve the environment. Instead, we email a receipt and packing slip to the sender.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, Chocolati Bar does not accept returns. If for some reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us at chocolatibar@gmail.com and we will make every effort to ensure your experience with Chocolate Bar is a pleasant one.
ORDERS AND RESERVATIONS
Chocolati Bar works very hard to provide our customers with a great selection of fresh sweet treats, despite an ever-growing demand. Busy days can lead to sold out items, and we never want you to be disappointed if you are unable to purchase the selection of sweet treats you wish to enjoy. To prevent this from happening, we encourage you to make a reservation. Please see below for more details.
Sweet Treat Orders
Because our sweets are made-to-order and highly sought-after, we typically require 3+ weeks notice for a large order and 2+ weeks for a small order. Please send us an email to get the process started by clicking the button below. Please note that your order is not placed until your 50% deposit has been received and  an email confirmation sent from us confirming your order.

Cancellation/Refunds
Orders cannot be cancelled once Chocolati Bar has begun processing the order. In order to promptly deliver our sweet treats as fresh as possible, the processing of an order commences almost immediately once you have submitted your order. However, should you wish to change or cancel your order, you are welcome to email us at chocolatibar@gmail.com to check whether the processing of an order has commenced, and if it has not we may be able to accommodate your request to cancel and will do our best to meet your needs. Any changes to or cancellation of an order can only be made with Chocolati Bar’s prior written approval and additional charges may apply. Any agreement by Chocolati Bar to accommodate a cancellation request will be conditioned upon payment of any and all costs, charges and expenses already incurred by Chocolati Bar to that point, and you agree that such amounts may be deducted from any payments previously made to Chocolate Bar.
Orders may not be cancelled. For order cancellation or modification requests, please contact us at chocolatibar.com. Such requests may not be possible due to the order processing schedule, but we will do our best!
Q:DO YOU SHIP CUSTOM COOKIES FOR SPECIAL EVENTS?
A: We love to cater for special events, large or small! Get in touch with us directly for a custom quote. Please include date, shipping address, order quantity, etc. in email to chocolatibar@gmail.com and we will confirm whether or not we can accommodate your order.
Q:WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/ NO-SHOW POLICY?
A: Sweets Orders: Once the 50% deposit is made, the deposit is non-refundable. If the event is cancelled, the deposit can be turned into a credit for another Chocolati Bar desserts in the next year following. Please note, the deposit is only refundable if the materials have yet to be purchased or the order has yet to begin.
No Show: We will call you to try and arrange an alternate pick up date. If we cannot get a hold of you and your order remains unclaimed, your credit card may be charged.
We are aware that life is unpredictable, and in the case of an extraordinarycircumstance please call us and we will do our best to accommodate!
Q:MY COOKIES ARRIVED, BUT THEY ARE DAMAGED. WHAT DO I DO?
A: While we always aim for perfection, we unfortunately do not have control over how our mail carrier handles the shipping process, and as a result, we do not provide refunds. For damage claims, please submit photographs of the external shipping box as well as the damaged cookies to chocolatibar.com along with your order number. We want every experience you have with us to be a positive one, and will do our best to resolve any issues!
Q: HOW DO YOU SHIP YOUR COOKIES ?
A: We take the utmost care and attention to detail when packaging and shipping your cookies.  We individualy package each cookie in bubble wrap aside from the actual packaging.  We currently use both UPS Ad FedEx as our delivery service, which guarantees overnight or 2-day delivery to most addresses in the United States
Q:ARE YOUR COOKIES GLUTEN FREE AND PEANUT FREE?
A: None of our cookies are gluten or peanut free because they are made in a kitchen that has gluten and peanut products, so cross-contamination may occur. We cannot be held responsible for allergic outbreaks.
Q: Do you have a calorie count per item?
A: No, we do not have a registered nutritionist to count calories on our products.
Q: Do you have an ingredient list for all of your products?
A: No, we do not provide ingredient lists for proprietary purposes.
Q:What happens if my shipping address is wrong?
A:We’ll help you get your cookies to the right place. Send us a note at chocolatibar@gmail.com with your order number and the correct shipping address. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll update the address prior to shipping your package. If your order has already shipped, we can work with UPS / FedEx to have it rerouted. Please note that rerouting a package may add extra transit time and rerouting fees
Q:What’s the shelf life of sugar cookies?
A: Sugar cookies have a shelf life of 6 – 10 days.  To maximize the shelf life, we recommend properly storing your cookies in a cool, dry place in an air tight container around 65-70 ͦ F, away from the kitchen and from direct heat or sunlight.

Q:I have a large order, who can help me?
A: We love large orders! You can place most orders on our website, but if you have a very large quantity (1000 pieces or more of a particular item), you can contact us at chocolatibar@gmail.com for assistance.  Please note that large orders may require extra processing time, particularly during the holiday season.
